What should you give Gone?
If you’d give it to a friend and feel good seeing it in their home… it’s probably perfect for Gone!
What We Take — and Why Quality Matters at Gone.com
At Gone, we believe in doing the right thing for your stuff — and for the planet. When you bring us items that are clean, functional, and ready for a second life, we can:
- Keep good things out of landfills
- Circulate beautiful, reusable items in our community
- Reduce carbon emissions by replacing “new” products with high‑quality reuse
- Support a local circular economy that thrives on trust and quality
If an item is broken, dirty, incomplete, or unfit for resale, we often can’t rehome it - which can lead to unnecessary waste and supply chain costs that we can't recoup. So we focus on items with resale potential, because that’s how we make the most impact on our community and our planet.
If you’d give it to a friend and feel good seeing it in their home… it’s probably perfect for Gone!

- Gone Staff will do their best to accommodate customers who want to drop off items but we may not be able to accept all items. To streamline the process, we recommend completing our online form before dropping off items in-store.
- Pickup Scheduling: We try our best to answer and execute every pickup request as quickly as possible. However, route scheduling conflicts and request volume may delay pickup service availability. Our goal is always to provide the best customer experience with personalized communication (not a robot!) and we appreciate your understanding.
Generally, we avoid items that are broken, missing parts, heavily stained, overly worn, or unsafe.
We’re not a nonprofit, so pickups aren’t tax‑deductible—but we promise to do the best thing for reuse and recycling.
